**$3,500 Sign on Bonus**
($500 after 90 days, $1,500 after 6 months, and $1,500 after 1 year of service)
Follow the resident Comprehensive Care Plan and care profile. Administer medications according to facility policy and general principles of safe medication administration. Complete treatments and procedures according to facility policy. Direct CNA’s in the performance of their job duties. Observe, evaluate and report significant resident signs/symptoms and/or changes in health care status to the supervising RN or physician, as necessary.
Document resident care/problems and status in compliance with facility policy and mandated regulations. Complete all required documentation in consistent, accurate and timely manner. Demonstrate correct and safe technique in the use of equipment such as beds, side rails, scales, hoyer lifts, bedchecks, whirlpool tub, safety devices, intercom, call bell system, gait belts, oxygen and suction equipment, tube feeding equipment, oximetry machine, BG machine. Perform direct personal resident care to an assigned group of residents as requested. Coordinate all aspect of unit operations when in Charge position.
Complete/monitor preventative skin care measures for residents. Assist in providing for the physical, emotional, and spiritual comfort and environmental safety of residents. Perform other related tasks required for the smooth functioning of the department as requested.
High School Diploma or GED required. Must be currently licensed in New York State as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Post graduate course in Pharmacology desirable. CPR certification preferred. Six months to one year of hospital experience recommended.
