The technologist will be responsible for scanning patients, assisting other departments throughout the organization learning about CT, cross training staff members from within Medical Imaging, and to promote CT services of Oswego Health. The qualified candidate will be ARRT certified in CT, New York State licensed, and have or obtain NYS IV certification within 6 months of hire.
Consistently produces high quality mammographic and procedures to aide in medical diagnosis, treatment,
and prevention of disease. Oversees regulatory compliance issues, including all aspects of the Mammography Quality Standards Act
as it is defined by the FDA, ACR, and NYS. Responsible for coordination of tasks and documentation for Quality Assurance. In addition to the mammography responsibilities, this position also functions as a radiologic technologist and will be required to perform x-ray exams.
Graduate of accredited radiography program and current NYS licensure and ARRT certification is required. One year experience in mammography procedures.
